Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

As a One to One SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Primary student child with ASD, providing individualized support and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to the student, adapting to their unique needs and learning style
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation, ensuring the student's educational goals are met
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support the student's social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting the student
