We are working with a privately owned car dealership who are actively seeking a Service Advisor to join their friendly team.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

Salary – £25,000 basic with an OTE of around £32,000

Hours – Monday to Friday 8.00am with 1 hour lunch, 1 Saturday a month 8.00am paid as overtime

Holiday – 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays per year

Service Advisor Duties include:

  • Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
  • Advising on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
  • Selling additional products as appropriate to customers' needs
  • Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
  • Producing job cards on in-house computer systems
  • Updating customer and vehicle records
  • Documenting all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
  • Preparing and completing invoices

For this Service Advisor position, you will have:

  • Previous experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage
  • A full driving license

As a Service Advisor, you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.

In particular, our client is looking for someone with strong customer service skills who has excellent customer rapport and can deliver great CSI results, along with being confident with up-sell opportunities.
