About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Non-Clinical Deputy Manager to join our vibrant team at our award-winning luxury care home in Evesham, Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home and Clinical Manager in leading and inspiring a passionate and loyal team.
  • Supervise the care team to ensure the care delivered meets the personal needs of each resident in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
  • Assist in the general day-to-day activities of the home, maintaining the exceptional standard of care and quality of life throughout the home.
  • Take pride in creating an atmosphere that stimulates residents to lead as full a life as possible in safety, with choice, dignity, and independence.
  • Work closely with residents, their families, and clinicians to ensure all psychological, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, and physical needs are met.
  • Take responsibility for the provision of dementia care and administration of medication as prescribed by the doctor, for all residents on Memory Care and Residential floors.
  • Skilled in leading and inspiring your team, take a hands-on approach to look after residents living with varied conditions including Dementia.
  • Keep appropriate and up-to-date records in place relating to the care of residents, ensuring they are reviewed in accordance with company policy.
  • Support the work of the Lifestyle and activities team to ensure positive social, recreational, and therapeutic activities are available to residents as appropriate to their care plan.
  • Communicate effectively on all levels, with a creative ability to think outside the box and problem-solve.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 in care (or equivalent) and be willing to work to a level 4.
