Job Summary

Talent Nexus for Black Point Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to superstores, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Class 1 lorries to deliver goods to superstores, adhering to a maximum of 6-10 drops per day.
  • Conduct vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage time effectively, ensuring a minimum of 8 hours of work per day.
  • Operate a tachograph, accurately recording hours worked and adhering to UK regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Requirements
  • HGV Class 1 UK driver's license.
  • UK Tacho Card, CPC, and driver's license.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to pass a theory test.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
