Workshop Labourer (General Assistant on the engineering shop floor)
Location:
Tewkesbury
Key Requirements:
Valid driving licence
Working hours: 39 hours per week, day shift, with early finishes on Fridays and opportunities for overtime.
Compensation:
Competitive pay at £13 per hour, with flexibility for salary discussions.

Role Overview:
In this role, you will support the operations of a well-respected precision engineering firm. Your commitment, friendly demeanor, and conscientious work ethic will be essential in maintaining smooth business operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Refilling, draining, and replacing CNC machining fluids;
- Removing metal chips and filings from machinery;
- Maintaining cleanliness on the workshop floor, including washing and tidying;
- Cleaning and packaging components;
- Delivering products to clients using the company vehicle;
- Performing basic maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., painting, changing light bulbs, general upkeep);
- Deburring machined components when required;
- Lifting and transporting metal bars to assist colleagues;
- Carrying out any additional related duties as assigned.
Reporting directly to the Manager, you will work in an engineering factory setting, collaborating with engineers operating precision machinery.
This is a diverse and engaging role for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to ensuring the facility remains well-stocked, organized, and safe for all employees.
While prior experience in a similar engineering setting is preferred, a valid driving licence is a must for this position.
Working Hours:
39 hours per week, day shift, with early finishes on Fridays.
