Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a wonderful primary school in Eastbourne. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching staff to provide excellent learning opportunities for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons and interventions
  • Work effectively in any part of the school to help teaching staff provide excellent learning opportunities for our children
  • Cover classes and run interventions as needed
  • Work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 for whole-class teaching and intervention groups
Requirements:
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification (essential)
  • Teaching Assistant Level 3 Qualification (desirable)
  • Previous HLTA/TA experience
  • Enhanced DBS check and registration on the Update Service
  • Availability to work during school times
  • Experience working in UK schools
