Job Summary:
A great opportunity has arisen for a skilled PSV Technician to join a large transport company in the Ayr area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general service, maintenance, and repair of public service vehicles, as well as coping with the day-to-day pressures of a normal vehicle workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- General service, maintenance, and repair of public service vehicles
- Cope with the day-to-day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings
- Vehicle inspections
- MOT preparation/presentation
- Correction of running defects
Requirements:
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is required
- Holding a commercial licence would be an advantage, however driver training can be provided
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications in heavy vehicle maintenance
- Bus mechanic/PSV technician
