About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Lead to join our team at Amica Care Trust. As a Care Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of our residents, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure that care services are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to Care Assistants to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Have previous experience working in a leadership or supervisory role in a care setting.
  • Have knowledge and experience of caring for older adults.
  • Be able to administer medications and have a good understanding of care planning.
  • Be a role model and promote a positive and respectful culture within the team.
