The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting with operational and financial management of our school's catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, while driving sales through promotions and events.
Your Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team, providing coaching, training, and motivation to ensure exceptional service and food quality.
- Manage catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs, to maintain profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure consistency of food and service standards, meeting the needs of students and staff.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including monthly promotions and added-value events, to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee menu development, ensuring it meets the needs of our clients and students.
- Maintain company systems and procedures, adhering to legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure standards are met and identify areas for improvement.

- Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets.
- Supervisory experience in a similar environment.
We offer a unique work-life balance, with Monday to Friday hours during school term time. You'll enjoy:
- 35 hours per week, with no late nights.
- 38 weeks per year, based around term time.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.42.
