Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Assistant to enhance our veterinary support team. Our organization is committed to providing exceptional care for pets in need, especially those whose owners face financial challenges in accessing veterinary services.
Role ResponsibilitiesAs an integral part of our animal care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your daily tasks will include:
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the animal care areas
  • Feeding, exercising, and grooming pets
  • Administering treatments and medications as directed
  • Monitoring the health and behavior of animals
  • Providing compassionate support to pet owners during their visits
  • Assisting veterinary staff in preparing for surgical procedures
In this role, you will work collaboratively with veterinarians and nurses, ensuring that all animals receive the best possible care.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients

  • Proficiency in using IT systems for record-keeping
While not mandatory, additional qualifications in Animal Care or related fields would be advantageous.
