Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Wash all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment, as well as food service equipment, to the highest standards.
- Environmental Health and Safety: Ensure that all areas of the kitchen, including floors, walls, bins, and delivery areas, are kept clean and tidy, and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of fridges, freezers, and other kitchen equipment.
- Reporting and Communication: Report any accidents, near misses, or equipment issues to the Chef or Supervisor.
- Positive Attitude and Professionalism: Demonstrate a positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for colleagues and customers.
- Basic Food-Handling Skills: Possess basic food-handling skills and knowledge of food safety procedures.
- Physical Ability: Be physically able to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Competitive Compensation: Receive a competitive hourly rate.
- Flexible Scheduling: Work a flexible schedule, including 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 15:00.
