Job Description

Job Title: SQL Developer

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have operational responsibility across the entire organization for all databases. This includes supporting and maintaining all 900 or so databases hosted/managed by the ICT department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the department's Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SQL database technology.
  • Set the Trust's database technology strategy and vision with the HOD.
  • Make decisions on the operations of all Trust SQL Database Management Systems (DBMS).
  • Continually improve database performance and maintain data quality and integrity.
  • Regularly plan and manage several database projects, often simultaneously, throughout the year.
  • Design and implement new database systems.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL technology and have experience in database management and development.
