Job Title: Health and Safety Business Partner

Project People is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team, you will play a vital role in driving a step change in our approach to Safety and Performance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in client-side construction or working within an asset infrastructure business. You will be responsible for partnering with leadership and operational teams to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental management standards and health and safety vision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a functional health and safety plan to deliver the overall health and safety vision
  • Influencing, coaching, and mentoring leadership and operational teams to develop working knowledge and application of health and safety management requirements
  • Providing relevant management information and trend analysis of health, safety, and environmental performance data
  • Developing new standards, processes, and supporting guidance and documentation
  • Identifying capability and process gaps within leadership and operational teams and ensuring development objectives are set and achieved

The ideal candidate will have a relevant health and safety qualification, good understanding of site health and safety risks, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to time, quality, and cost.
