Residential Property Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our team at Oculus Legal Group in Birmingham. As a key member of our property law team, you will be responsible for managing a varied and rewarding caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages of leasehold and freehold properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of residential property transactions, including complex cases
  • Conduct lease extensions and auction transactions
  • Supervise junior fee earners and support staff
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and introducers
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, and regulatory standards
  • Share best practices and knowledge with colleagues
  • Adhere to the firm's detailed policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • Significant experience in residential conveyancing, including complex cases
  • In-depth knowledge of referral arrangements and compliance issues
  • Familiarity with the CQS and panel memberships
  • Business development skills to attract and retain clients
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to embrace system developments to improve efficiency
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and other professionals
