Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Dulux Decorator Centre. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Supervise and motivate a small team of colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, visually merchandised, and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.
  • Manage the store's inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, and data protection.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a retail or store management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and driving sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IT literate, with experience of using retail systems and software.
  • Valid driving license and ability to drive the store van.
