Job Title: Enablement Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Enablement Supervisor to join our team at Kent County Council. As an Enablement Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and reduce their long-term care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of individuals using the Enablement service, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapy and Case Management colleagues to ensure assessments are holistic and all opportunities are maximised.
  • Provide practice monitoring, supervision, and training to a team of Enablement Support Workers in the community.
  • Monitor the quality of service provided and ensure staff work in a healthy and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • An empathetic and caring approach, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with diverse individuals and challenging situations.
  • Ability to empower individuals to support them in reaching their personal goals and maximising their independence.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems.
  • Ability to travel across the required geographical area and be flexible in adapting to fast-changing business needs.
