About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Poundland. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the achievement of team and company goals

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 HGV license with no endorsements
  • Excellent knowledge of transport and distribution operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.76
  • Weekend premium of £2.00 per hour
