Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated LGV 2 Driver to join our team at Biffa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our yard operations, including the management of bin stock, cleaning and maintenance of vehicles, and driving our LGV 2 vehicles to cover holiday and sickness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the yard in a clean and safe condition, including regular sweeping and litter picking.
- Take control of bin stock, cleaning, repairing, and sorting bins.
- Drive our LGV 2 vehicles to cover holiday and sickness.
- Provide site operational requirements by dispensing duties as described by the Site Supervisor.
- Adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures, including Health and Safety Policy, Employment Handbook, and Management Guide.
Requirements:
- Must remain aware at all times of responsibilities for own Health and Safety, for the Health and Safety of those directly responsible to you, your work colleagues, and any others who may be affected by the operations under your responsibility or control.
- Must ensure that at all times the correct PPE is worn.
- Must adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures.
- Must be able to work outside in inclement weather at times.
