Job Overview

Hewett Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Metrology Engineer to join our client's team in Malvern. As a Metrology Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of manufactured components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming and Operation: Program and operate the CMM machine to inspect produced parts, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Quality Inspection and Reporting: Create inspection and PPAP reports to document the quality of produced parts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of quality systems and measurement analysis systems to enhance overall product quality.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to the wider engineering team, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a Metrology, Quality, or CMM-based position is essential.
  • Skills: Experience with 8D, PPAP, and ISIR is advantageous. Proficiency in programming CCM is a must.
  • Education and Certifications: Relevant education and certifications in metrology, quality assurance, or a related field are desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
