Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer to lead projects focused on improving our cutting-edge energy storage technology. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide expertise and support to our Polymer and Electrochemistry Research Scientists, driving innovation and growth within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Research Scientists to develop and optimize our energy storage technology
  • Lead projects to improve the technology's performance, scalability, and manufacturability
  • Validate new technology through scale-up and implementation into new prototypes
  • Develop creative solutions to enhance prototype performance and efficiency
  • Design and execute experiments to support the development of new prototype concepts
  • Act as a liaison between our Research and Prototype Development teams
Requirements
  • PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Proven hands-on engineering expertise, with a strong understanding of chemical systems and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in process development and optimization, particularly in pilot-line manufacturing
  • Track record of scaling up technology and increasing Technology Readiness Levels (TRL)
  • Project management experience
  • Start-up mentality and a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with batteries, supercapacitors, or similar technologies is highly desirable
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate with our team
