Estimator/Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are representing a leading refurbishment contractor based in the UK who is seeking an experienced Estimator/Surveyor to join their team.

The company has a strong reputation for undertaking refurbishment, restoration, fit-out, shopfitting, and extension projects across various sectors, including Retail, Leisure, Education, Medical, Historical, and Office.

Due to a steady increase in workload, they are looking for an Estimator/Surveyor with schedule of rates and traditional pricing experience who can price jobs and financially manage 2 to 3 live projects through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tendering projects and managing costs across multiple clients
  • Estimating, measuring, variations, and final accounts
  • Subcontract commercial control and valuations
  • Reporting, forecasting, and risk management
  • Developing subcontract and client relationships and communication
  • Supply chain commercial improvement with suppliers and contractors
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
  • Refurbishment, fit-out, or shopfitting background would be an advantage
  • HNC or Degree qualified
  • Good knowledge of JCT forms of contracts
