Job Title: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide technical support for subsea equipment projects, acting as a liaison between customers, engineering teams, and project managers to ensure that the commissioned equipment meets project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure machines and associated equipment have been correctly manufactured
  • Diagnose and fix faults
  • Plan and execute commissioning activities within company manufacturing facilities
  • Ensure test paperwork is correctly completed
  • Perform functional testing of equipment
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • HNC in electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in reactive maintenance role
  • Knowledge of subsea equipment (desirable)
