Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and navigate various Class 1 vehicles to designated delivery points
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
  • Ensure proper loading and securing of all cargo
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain effective communication with dispatch and clients
  • Keep accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel usage
  • Report any vehicle issues or maintenance requirements to management
  • Assist with cargo loading and unloading as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid UK C+E License
  • Minimum of 12 months experience operating C+E vehicles
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no serious endorsements
  • Current UK CPC and Digi card
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with other commercial vehicles is advantageous.
