Class 1 Tramper Role

People Solutions is seeking a skilled Class 1 Tramper to join our client's team in Scunthorpe. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures
  • Comply with Driving rules and regulations
  • Execute trunk runs to depots
  • Exhibit a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Perform curtain-side work
  • Ensure loads are strapped correctly
  • Conduct trunk runs
  • Carry out tramping work

Requirements

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
  • Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Work in a professional manner
  • Display excellent communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working on a general haulage contract is desired but not essential
