Job Summary

Venture Search is seeking a seasoned Fixed Income Securities Trader to join our team in London. As a key member of our Prop Trading firm, you will be responsible for executing and managing trades in Fixed Income Securities, generating alpha, and monitoring risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trading and Portfolio Management: Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize portfolio performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Alpha Generation: Conduct thorough market analysis and research to identify trading opportunities and trends, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage risk exposure to ensure compliance with our risk management policies and procedures.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trading opportunities and trends, and provide insights and recommendations to the trading team.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on trading performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other traders, analysts, and risk management teams to optimize trading strategies and outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Fixed Income Securities trading and portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex market data and develop effective trading strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong risk management skills, with the ability to monitor and manage risk exposure.
