Senior Gameplay Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our team at 2K. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing complex gameplay systems that are extensible, scalable, and intuitive for non-programmers to use.
Key Responsibilities- Write high-quality, efficient code that meets the needs of our game.
- Collaborate with designers to implement and iterate on new gameplay features and mechanics.
- Solve complex technical problems that arise from working on a large, open-world, high-player-count first-person shooter.
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members to help them learn and develop.
- Oversee multiple feature sets and areas of gameplay to ensure their delivery.
- 4+ years of industry experience with a strong grasp of C++, software design, object-oriented programming, and debugging.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 and a strong understanding of 3D math for games.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate systems and ideas effectively.
- A methodical mind and the ability to think outside the box.
- Experience developing games for console platforms.
- Experience programming multiplayer games in Unreal Engine 4/5.
- Experience using Chaos physics engine in Unreal Engine 5.
- Shipped a commercial multiplayer game.
