About the Role

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil and Structural Engineer to join their team in Kingston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dynamic design consultancy and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of civil and structural infrastructure projects, including substation design for UK Power Networks.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions for complex projects.
  • Provide expert advice on steel and concrete design, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage projects, mentor staff, and issue fee bids.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's remediation works framework for Network Rail's structural assets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on design consultancy.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects, including substation design and bridge replacement/refurbishment.
  • Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design, and experience with detail design.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
