Theatre Practitioner

Role Overview

Ramsay Health Care Clinical is seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment to ensure a safe and efficient working space.
• Provide support to surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the anaesthetist or surgeon.
• Assist with the transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Participate in the cleaning and disinfection of the operating theatre and equipment.

Requirements

• NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
• Theatre experience to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments.
• Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Flexible and positive attitude.
• A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
