Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Staff SoC Verification Engineer to join our Systems Development team at ARM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for verifying and testing sophisticated IP, including CPU/GPU/DSP processors, memory controllers, and interconnect fabrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verification and Testing: Develop and execute test plans, define test methodologies, and complete functional verification to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with project management, leads, and engineers from other teams to plan tasks, set schedules, and quality checkpoints. Staff Engineers are also encouraged to mentor junior members.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments, assembly language (ARM), C/C++, and/or hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog). Experience with shell programming/scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python) and various verification methodologies (UVM/OVM, formal, low power, emulation) is also required.
  • Verification Methodologies: Have practical experience of verifying on processor-based system designs, all stages of verification (requirements collection, verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support).
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Demonstrate technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Arm System Architectures: Understanding of the fundamentals of Arm system architectures.
  • Power-Aware Design: Experience with power-aware and clock domain crossing implementation.
  • Embedded Operating Systems: Knowledge of embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures.
  • Subsystem Verification: Experience verifying subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet.
  • Emulation Platforms: Development and deployment of large SoCs on emulation platforms.
