About the Role

The Nuclear Medicine & PET-CT department at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering expert nursing care to patients in our specialist area.

Main Responsibilities

  • To work autonomously and effectively coordinate and deliver an expert nursing service within the specialist area.
  • To manage a caseload of patients and ensure they receive comprehensive care.
  • To provide clinical and social support to patients and their families, ensuring they are fully informed and supported throughout their care journey.
  • To lead on the development of evidence-based clinical nursing practice, staying up-to-date with current research and guidelines.
  • To establish clear lines of communication within the specialty team, ensuring cohesive multidisciplinary management of patients.
  • To collaborate with healthcare teams to increase knowledge and facilitate care for patients in the community.
