Job Overview

Rapier is seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our Transport team. As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company procedures and regulations, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
  • Manage your own working time, adhering to tachograph rules and regulations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks on your Class 1 vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets all safety standards.
  • Deliver goods to customers in a safe and efficient manner, meeting all delivery deadlines and expectations.
  • Maintain a high standard of behavior and appearance, representing Rapier in a positive and professional light.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class 1 Driver.
  • Hold a valid UK HGV 1 (Class 1) driving license.
  • Hold a valid CPC DQC.
  • Have excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations.
