The role involves working with young people and young adults with eating disorders and co-morbid conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), trauma, depression, self-harm, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, formulating treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify treatment needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address eating disorders and co-morbid conditions
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to young people and their families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
Applicants must hold HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and have experience working with eating disorders. A strong understanding of evidence-based treatments and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.
