The Job
GAP Group Limited is a leading provider of equipment hire services, operating across various sectors including construction, utilities, and infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team, responsible for loading, delivering, and collecting equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and delivering equipment to customer sites
- Collecting equipment from customer sites
- Ensuring all relevant checks and administration are completed accurately
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience working as an HGV driver, loading, delivering, and collecting equipment from customer sites
- A Class 2 driving license, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed, and a valid Digital Tachograph card
- An understanding of health and safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
- Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
- A HIAB certificate is advantageous
