Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operator to join our busy manufacturing team at Stafflex Industrial. As a Technical Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Operations: Follow defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Departmental Instructions to produce finished products that meet all necessary specifications.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Complete documentation in a neat, accurate, and timely manner, as detailed in relevant procedures.
- Team Support: Provide backup resource for other areas within the company, governed by production demands.
- Equipment Maintenance: Participate in production line/area/machine changeovers and ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, and successfully using defined procedures.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Work alongside the Machine Technician to resolve issues, perform routine Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM), and ensure equipment operates in an increasingly efficient manner to maximize output.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Training and Development: Ensure training and monitoring of new and existing Operators is completed following defined procedures to establish performance standards.
- Operational Excellence: Operate the motorized runabout and reach trucks, and carry out any other duties reasonably expected by the Group Leader, Senior Group Leader, or Process Unit Head.
Requirements:
- Education and Qualifications: Minimum GCSE or equivalent in Math and English.
- Technical Skills: Basic IT skills and strong GMP knowledge.
- Experience: Experience working in a controlled manufacturing environment is essential, and previous pharmaceutical experience is advantageous.
- Personal Attributes: Works effectively in a team, has a flexible approach to work, and can work cross-functionally.
