About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance. You will work closely with our clients to provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters, and will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in the Advisory Team to provide expert advice and guidance to clients on financial matters.
  • Interact with and manage clients, providing accounting advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Learn and implement financial modelling and forecasting techniques to help clients make informed business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting and finance best practices, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage a team of accounting professionals, including setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and support to management to help drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification, or currently studying.
  • 4 years+ of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in UK Public Practice.
  • Full working rights in the UK and will NOT require sponsorship.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
