Senior Structural Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and execution of structural engineering projects within the EV sector.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of complex structural engineering projects within the automotive industry.
  • Collaborate effectively with the structures design team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Design innovative iStream structural elements, contributing to the advancement of EV technology.
  • Create detailed assembly and component drawings using Catia V5 software, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Manage a team of designers, providing guidance and support to deliver high-quality work packages on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automotive structural design, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Mastery of Catia V5 and 3DX software, with the ability to create complex 3D models and assemblies.
  • Proficiency in conducting basic structural calculations and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulations to ensure design integrity and performance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials science, heat treatments, and surface treatments relevant to automotive applications.
