Job Description

The Junior Civil Engineer will play a key role in supporting the production and monitoring of civil engineering activities for building construction on the nuclear island. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, analyzing, and verifying input data for consistency
  • Coordinating with CAD Designers and Design Office Managers
  • Performing design activities for fastenings in concrete
  • Conducting technical verifications of civil engineering documents
  • Creating, maintaining, and managing the Design Risk Register

Requirements include:

  • Civils Design office experience
  • Knowledge of Eurocodes related to civil engineering, particularly design of fastenings in concrete
  • Understanding of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, Navisworks, Mathcad, and Verifplantine
