About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team at FM Conway. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of our plant and equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on plant and equipment
  • Work with the maintenance team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in mechanical repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of plant and equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities
