We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Volunteer Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our organisation and making a positive impact in our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage our team of staff and volunteers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to deliver our services effectively.
- Operations and Compliance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our organisation, ensuring we meet all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety and GDPR policies.
- Business Development and Fundraising: Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, develop and implement business plans, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Finance and Administration: Manage our finances, create budgets, and monitor financial performance, ensuring transparency and good financial practice.
- Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with our community, including clients, volunteers, and partners, and ensure our services meet their needs.
- Experience: Proven experience in leadership and management, business development, and fundraising, preferably in the third sector.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in online accounts management and social media.
