Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Plan Development: Utilize corporate planning processes, systems, and databases to create detailed, fully resourced, and optimized work plans for approval by Section Managers.
  • System Updates: Accurately update systems, databases, and records as required to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Safe System of Work Planning: Produce Safe System of Work plans to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
  • Access and Isolation Requests: Submit green zone access and isolation requests to facilitate project execution.
  • Quarterly Planning: Produce draft quarterly plans to align with business objectives.
  • Meetings and Coordination: Manage weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings and represent Section Managers at planning meetings.
  • Record Management: Collate and maintain infrastructure maintenance records to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Administration: Administer rosters and timesheets to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Assessment Support: Support the administration of the Assessment in The Line process to ensure effective project execution.
  • Filing and Organization: Set up and maintain efficient filing systems for the Section(s) to ensure confidentiality and safety critical documents are properly managed.
  • General Administration: Undertake general office administration duties for the Section Manager to provide effective support.

Requirements:

  • Work Planning Skills: Possess work plan production and resource optimization skills to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Scheduling: Have a scheduling profile in work planning/scheduling system to ensure accurate planning and execution.
  • Core Planning Skills: Possess Core Planning Skills Level 2 to ensure effective planning and execution.
  • Access and Possession Processes: Have knowledge of access and possession processes and systems to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Safe System of Work Planning: Possess knowledge of Safe System of Work Planning Process and System to ensure safety of personnel and assets.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to ensure effective collaboration and project execution.
  • Clerical Support: Have experience of clerical support and office management to ensure effective administration.
  • Time Management: Possess excellent time management skills to ensure timely project execution.
  • IT Systems: Have knowledge of relevant IT systems to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Initiative: Possess the ability to work on own initiative to ensure effective project execution.

Desirable:

  • Operational Railway Environment: Have knowledge of operational railway environment to ensure effective project execution.
