Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Sauce Cook/Lasagne Cook to join our team at Wisbech. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces and lasagne. Your attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and specifications will ensure consistency across batches and meet our high standards for quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create sauces and lasagne
  • Follow recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across batches
  • Efficiently carry out assigned operations or tasks, meeting all output targets
  • Contribute to improved line performance and efficiencies
  • Maintain excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards
  • Resolve running problems/issues
  • Handle food ingredients and participate in manual lifting processes
  • Participate in training and mentoring of new staff
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve the production/process
  • Communicate effectively with your area leader
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Good level of English and Maths
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
  • Ability to work unsupervised
