Environmental Sustainability Manager

We are IVC Evidensia, a global veterinary group on a mission to deliver outstanding care in over 2,500 locations worldwide. We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Manager to lead our decarbonisation and environmental strategy across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement our decarbonisation strategy, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, and supply chain sustainability.
  2. Review and ensure compliance with environmental legislation across our global operations.
  3. Assess and mitigate environmental risks across the group.
  4. Lead environmental sustainability disclosures, including SECR, TCFD, TNFD, and CSRD.
  5. Support country teams with environmental issues management and knowledge building.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in developing and implementing decarbonisation strategies for large companies.
  2. Knowledge of environmental regulations across our operational regions.
  3. Experience in environmental risk assessment, sustainability programme implementation, and impact measurement.
  4. Technical environmental qualifications (BSc/MSc or industry-recognised certifications).
  5. Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks.
  6. Ability to communicate complex environmental issues to business stakeholders.
  7. Strong project management, communication, and organisational skills.
  8. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  9. Fluent English and the right to work in the UK/Europe.
