Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our client's team in Norwich. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a crucial role in creating sustainable architecture and contributing to the company's mission to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the design team to develop and implement architectural designs that meet the company's sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct site surveys and measurements to gather data for design and construction purposes.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, including design and access statements and planning drawing packages.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in architectural technology or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software and experience with building information modeling (BIM).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and industry standards, including PAS 2035 and 2038.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
