Reservations Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations Executive to join our team at The Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh. As a key member of our Revenue & Sales office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and booking agents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process, amend, and update bookings as required via telephone and email.
- Respond to guest requests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Check reservations made the day prior to ensure all comments, billing instructions, and deposits are correctly detailed on the reservation.
- Work closely with hotel reception teams to answer queries regarding reservations, arrivals, in-house guests, or billing queries via phone or email.
- Identify and communicate potential sales leads or corporate business bookings to drive direct business.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of MEWS and Opera Cloud PMS is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a reservations role is desirable.
