We are seeking a skilled Cable Assembly Technician to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and functionality in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Have a working knowledge of all relevant operations documentation related to the manufacture or assembly of items within our product range.
  • Understand and follow the correct application of mechanical fixings and their relevant torque requirements.
  • Carry out mechanical builds making any adjustments as required to sub-assemblies, cabinets, and ancillary equipment of varying batch sizes using appropriate jigs and fixtures.
  • Terminate cable forms or carry out point-to-point wiring of sub-assemblies, cases, cabinets, and ancillary equipment of varying batch sizes using appropriate fixtures.
  • Carry out self-inspection of own work to recognised standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as an operations assembly operator, particularly in wiring.
  • Skills: Proficiency in performing specialised mechanical assembly operations, testing, and problem analysis.
  • Resource Management: Monitor the availability of parts, tools, and machines for seamless production.
