Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead our Manufacturing Engineering team at ASMPT SMT Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and ensuring the smooth integration of new processes, tests, and products.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee production support for printer build to ensure timely and high-quality machine shipments.
- Ensure production documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and that products are built to the correct quality standards.
- Liaise with other disciplines and departments to develop and deploy test and verification equipment into the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with engineers throughout the design cycle and participate in design reviews to ensure smooth product transitions from design to production.
- Attend project meetings and communicate outcomes with the Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Ensure design changes are implemented promptly and flow smoothly into production.
- Undertake tasks in other production departments as needed, including travel to national and international locations.
- Perform electrical and electronic fault finding, diagnosis, and repair.
- Develop and manage complex electronic systems and processes.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in managing and completing complex projects, with excellent cross-discipline communication skills.
- Strong understanding of modern manufacturing methods, including current machining and fabrication techniques.
- Experience working in a low-volume electrical mechanical environment.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (desirable).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies (desirable).
- Experience with 3D printing (desirable).
