About the Role

Meningitis Now is seeking a skilled Fundraising Assistant to join our Individual Giving team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the administration and stewardship of our Individual Giving activities, including Forever Funds, Legacies, Weekly Lottery, Cash Appeals, and trading activities such as Christmas card sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the administration of Individual Giving activities, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Manage the thanking of individual donations, including in memory, funeral, and unsolicited donations.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with supporters and promote our fundraising activities.
  • Provide exceptional supporter care, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in Individual Giving.
Requirements
  • Experience in supporter care or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with databases, preferably Salesforce.
