About The Role

**EKFB is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer to join our team**

As a BIM Engineer, you will be part of our Information Management Team and will be responsible for managing and monitoring the Technical Assurance and CAD compliance of the external supply chain in the production of drawings from detailed design stage to construction.

You will be reporting to the BIM Manager and ensuring that supply chain drawings are standardized and that development of the drawings is in accordance with the EKFB CAD Standards and HS2 Requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ISO 19650 and experience in design engineering, with advanced knowledge and use of Bentley Microstation and ProjectWise, as well as Autodesk Autocad Civils 3D and Navisworks software.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and monitor the Technical Assurance and CAD compliance of the external supply chain
  • Ensure that supply chain drawings are standardized and compliant with EKFB CAD Standards and HS2 Requirements
  • Lead the clash detection process and manage the clash detection meetings
  • Support design and construction works, providing assurance of 3D BIM models relevant to the project
  • Develop 4D & 5D models of the project and deliver presentations internally in the project or external events as required

About You

  • **Experience in Design Engineering**
  • **Knowledge of large scale construction and/or civils projects**
  • **Good understanding of ISO 19650**
  • **Advanced knowledge and use of Bentley Microstation and ProjectWise**
  • **Advanced knowledge and use of Autodesk Autocad Civils 3D and Navisworks software**
  • **Understanding and following CAD standards and schemes**
