L1 Insider Threat Supervisor

We are seeking committed professionals to become part of the Cyber Security division at WTW, providing exceptional service to our organization. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a skilled L1 Insider Threat Supervisor.

In this role within the Cyber Defence unit, you will lead the L1 Insider Threat analyst team. Reporting to the Global Head of Insider Threat, we are looking for someone with previous experience in overseeing an Insider Threat or Data Loss Prevention triage team. The L1 team serves as the first line of defense against insider threats, swiftly identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the timely and efficient triage and escalation of Insider Threat and DLP alerts across multiple channels in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Lead a team of L1 Insider Threat Analysts, delegating tasks, tracking progress, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensure the precision and quality of alert triage activities through comprehensive Quality Assurance assessments.
• Manage the escalation process for alerts that necessitate further investigation beyond the capabilities of the L1 team.
• Compile and present triage reports to other stakeholders within the Cyber Defence framework.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve daily operations, monitoring, and processes through innovative solutions.
• Develop and revise operational documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Implement initiatives for continuous improvement within the team.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to L1 Insider Threat Analysts to enhance their alert triaging skills.
• Collaborate with the Insider Threat Engineering team to refine detection tool rules.
• Drive enhancement initiatives within the L1 function and contribute to projects that strengthen data protection policies.
