Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a skilled Warehouse Assistant to join our team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail, and working collaboratively with our team to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and pack orders to meet customer demands, ensuring all items are properly labelled and prepared for shipping.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the team.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet the highest standards before being packaged and shipped.
- Order Preparation: Prepare orders for shipping, including steaming clothing items to remove wrinkles and ensuring all items are properly packaged and labelled.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role, as you will be responsible for ensuring all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are required to manage multiple orders and priorities.
- Team Player: A team player with good communication skills is essential for this role, as you will be working collaboratively with our team to meet customer demands.
Working Hours:
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday. The exact shift times will be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is £17.70, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
